How You Can Help CRISA

With support from the European Union through the United Nations Office on Drugs an Crime (UNODC), CRISA has provided treatment services to more than 500 people who use drugs in Akwa Ibom State since 2016. The EU funding has ended and we are appealing for support from government, individuals, and businesses to continue this important work of helping our young people and their families affected by drugs.

Your financial contribution (no amount is too small) will go a long way in supporting our free out-patient services (the drop-in-centre employs 12 professional and support members of staff). It will also be useful as we prepare to open a residential facility for the growing number of affected persons in need of more concentrated services.

CRISA is a longstanding organization involved in drug abuse research and service provision. We are registered at the CAC as a non-profit organization limited by guarantee. Our accounts are audited annually and you can rest assured that your financial contribution will be well spent.

You can also assist in any number of ways that will enhance the quality and coverage of our work in the state. For example, we need a piece of land for a residential facility in the state and health care products for our clients at the DIC.
