National Drug Use Symposium

The report of the first national survey of the extent and patterns of drug use in Nigeria was launched by the Federal Government on 29 January 2019 in Abuja. The report consists of findings from three surveys conducted by the National Bureau of Statistics, NBS (Household Survey) and the Centre for Research and Information on Substance Abuse, CRISA (Survey of Problem of Drug Use and the Key Informant Survey). The project was funded by the European Union and supervised by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).You can access the Executive Summary and the full report here.
