On 27th October 2021, at the opening ceremony of the 5th National Symposium on Drugs and Drug Policy in Nigeria, CRISA celebrated her 30th birthday. The centre actually turned 30 in 2020 but could not celebrate in any way because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The celebration took the form of cutting of a birthday cake by the CRISA Director, Professor Isidore Obot, Hon. Onofiok Luke, Chairman, House Committee on Judiciary, who was chairman of the occasion, invited guests, and symposium participants who were in Jos during the founding of the Centre in 1990.
A memento publication containing a history of the centre, achievements, birthday greetings, and messages from associates was also presented. You can access the publication here:
