The First Scientific Conference of the Centre for Research and Information on Substance Abuse (CRISA) took place in 1991 in Jos, Nigeria. In October 2020 the 14th conference in the biennial series will be held in Abuja, coinciding with the 30th Anniversary of the founding of CRISA in 1990.
